  1. Unfortunately the gif is cut a little short. Non-euclidean geometry in games are mind-blowing. It’s very very easy to get lost.

  2. They call this non-Euclidean?

Wouldn’t they render a scene at the face of the paradox? As you step towards it from the correct side, the impassable wall is removed, and the new impassable walls to the left and right are loaded as clipping data. Essentially it is Euclidean but jumps between disparate coordinate systems. The separate systems cannot be considered 4D because the many systems do not have a mathematical continuation, they are artistically/designed-to-be linked together.

My suggestion seems juvenile thinking on it, I feel like there’s a more elegant solution but I don’t know what it is, but still can’t imagine it being non-Euclidean.

  3. The first time I saw it blew my entire existence and everything I knew about logic out of the water. It had taken the viewer down about three flights of sloped hallways which let out to the doorway of the beginning as the path.
