That monolith is a drum.
In the video they admit it wasn’t them who made the others. For those still confused.
Am I the only one who hasn’t really understood what he just watched?
Gotta love the King Gizzard t-shirt
People seem disappointed it wasn’t aliens, but I’m still not convinced Mark Bonanno isn’t an alien anyway.
[Here is the video.](https://youtu.be/j-pKKM6CXr0)
This video IS real.
The monolith they created IS real.
The video itself IS a parody that they acknowledge at around 16:26 and you can easily tell. They speak off how they came with the monolith idea last year, but the Utah monolith has been there since 2016. Satellite footage confirms it. I don’t want to say this video is debunked, but they didn’t build all of the monoliths just this one in the video to help their friend promote something. In a sense, they are taking credit but at the same time, they are not. As I already addressed they acknowledge to not be the ones to build all of them. I just wanted to post this for those who don’t watch the whole video and just assume this is real. The mystery continues.
for attention?
Why not?
Watch this all be a publicity stunt for Aunty Donna.
If you watch the whole video, they didn’t do the other two, but good lord that’s an amazing hijacking they’ve accomplished.
Nahhh, its the galactic federation.
i get a kick out of watching people use the wrong tools for the job, like for digging holes in the ground they needed a spade shovel instead of the ones they used.
Off topic, but anyone know the song during the opening credits?
Sounds very familiar. Nine Inch Nails? Burial? I know it, and it’s driving me crazy that I can’t place it.
Thought it was a joke at first when I saw it posted on YouTube but the mad man actually did it.
Only just found his channel the other day when he made a lawnmower powered beyblade based on a massive circular saw and tested it wearing flip flops.
Man 2020 is fucking real. Covid, Trump, wildfires, that crazy ozzy dude that lets lizards free roam his house and aunty donna building monoliths.
Can’t wait for the next episode.
Watched the whole thing. No idea what I just watched but it sure was very Australian!
Naw it was Clark Gable who build these
Where’s Kevin?
Where is the one in utah?
“How does the monolith feel?”
Did you recently build one for manitoba Canada?
But did they made the one in Sweden ? https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSGNyRAE/
Is this real life?
ITS NOT A MONOLITH UNLESS ITS MADE OF STONE
Am I the only one who doesn’t find Auntie Donna funny? I had to turn this video off after the minute long failed gag about fitting it in the car. They just talk over eachother constantly. It’s like watching a group of five year olds vying for attention. I tried to watch their netflix special and had to turn that off after 5 minutes. I just don’t get it. I love musical comedy and satire and stupidity and randomness but they just don’t make me laugh in the slightest. They’re like a cheap knock-off of The Flying Conchords.
no masks and shaking hands ewwww
Who would’ve thought the man who let lizards live in his house would create a transcontinental art exhibit
From the second the first monolith appeared i knew it had to be a viral marketing and art thing. But i would have NEVER predicted Aunty Donna! This is the best possible collaboration i could have ever hoped for! Nicely done my dudes.
This seems like a publicity stunt to capitalize on the monolith story.
I am so sick of this viral marketing campaign
Why are white people like this?
Aliens
Plenty of people are taking credit for them. Or at least they are letting the media and other people rumor that they built them.
My friend The Most Famous Artist also claimed to have built them.
In reality it is a collective of likeminded folks many of whom I know.
What a stupid video. You know what we don’t need in 2020? more misinformation, even if light hearted.

Weird Al is in it? That, more than those monoliths means I will give it a shot.
