  1. This is one of my favorite anthologies created! Netflix has been really putting out some crap but this right here is the shit! Giving artists a platform to show off their shorts is the best!

  2. Zima blue was one of the most oddly beautiful things I’ve seen, like reading a ray bradbury book for the first time

  3. What the hell is Love Death + Robots?

It’s a series of one off animations each done by a wide variety in artists and studios. The closest example I can think of is Liquid Television from MTV many years ago.

    And it’s really cool.

  4. Only part of this that sucked: having to wait until May 14

S1 was a surprise find for me, really excited for this.

  5. The music from Hereditary at the end of the movie, amazing choice

also was that michael b. jordan for a second there?

  6. I’d love another Cosmic Horror story this season like “Beyond the Aquila Rift.” But to be honest, the animation, stories and creativity in Love, Death and Robots make me look forward to any new episodes. Can’t wait.

  7. I would love to see some follow up on the previous ones – Sonnie’s Edge, Suits, Beyond the Aquila Rift, Good Hunting, Shape-Shifters or The Secret War – but probably all of the new ones will be independent again. Nonetheless, they were by far my favorite and extremely well made ones.

Cannot wait to see what cool new stuff do we get this time!

  8. If anyone else is looking for clarification of the different animation styles, here’s info from its Wikipedia article:

    >Love, Death & Robots (stylized as LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS) is an American adult animated anthology streaming television series on Netflix.[1] The 18-episode first season was released on March 15, 2019.[2] The series is produced by Tim Miller, Joshua Donen, David Fincher and Jennifer Miller.[3] Each episode was animated by different crews from a range of countries.[4] The series is a re-imagining of Fincher and Miller’s long in-development reboot of the 1981 animated science fiction film Heavy Metal.[5],_Death_%26_Robots

  9. Damn, can’t wait.

Now I feel like re-watching some of the more memorable ones in Vol.1. Or just all of them, since I don’t feel like there were any bad episodes.

  10. The series that taught me what a woman really means when she says “You don’t deserve me at my best if you can’t handle me at my most chitinous and arachnoid…”

  11. One of my worst parenting moves was leaving this show on when I got in the shower. My son who was 4 watched the werewolf episode. Still scared of werewolves.

  12. I don’t know what it is with all the complaines abou the nudity. There are like 4 out of 18 episodes that have it, and I initially remembered only 2. It is not a kids show and for me it didn’t deter from the story.

Would be interesting to know if the complains are international or mostly from the US.

  13. Hopefully they keep it weird like the first one. I was watching the first one thinking “What the hell am I watching?” then the wife walked in and asked that same question out loud.

  14. Yea yes yea paid promo for show on r/video. Way to go Reddit. Nice way to sneak in a video promo Netflix. But y’all shows are crap. And the people who you pay to advertise em.

No wonder why your new signups are crashing and people dropping out for better content elsewhere.

E: lol. Op isn’t a paid shill account. Haha

  15. Pretty excited for this, but I have to say that the first season was a third awesome, a third pretty good and a third straight-up awful. And it was a little childish in its overall feel, like, in a “look at all the tits” way.

  16. I really enjoyed this series. Most of it was pretty mindless and either vulgar/violent for the sake of being vulgar/violent (I still enjoyed this however), but there were a few that were deeply touching, like Zima Blue.

  17. I’m excited to see what they come up with for season 2. I found Season 1 to be very hit or miss, but enjoyed it overall. I think if they can tighten up the writing a bit, it has a chance to be an avenue to explore some really interesting topics. Like a mini black mirror episode meets the animatrix. If they could nail that sort of tone, I’d be all in.
